Lilac Gin

It’s Lilac Sunday, and that means it’s time to take a stroll amongst the lilac blooms and bask in its sweet aroma. Let’s toast to the beauty of spring with the Lilac Gin cocktail!

Ingredients

• 2 ounces gin
• 1 ounces vanilla liquor
• 1 ounces lilac syrup*
• 1/2 ounces lemon juice
• Garnish: mint sprig

Instructions

• Add the gin, vanilla liquor, lilac syrup, and lemon juice into a shaker with ice, and shake until well-chilled.
• Strain into a Coupe glass over crushed ice (optional).
• Garnish with a mint sprig.
• *Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup of tightly packed lilac pedals in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, add 1 vanilla bean, split and let cool to room temperature.
