Boulevardier

May Day is a time to celebrate renewal, rejuvenation, and hope and to drink tasty libations. Grab a Maypole ribbon in one hand and your Boulevardier Cocktail in the other, and you will be ready to revel in the arrival of spring.

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 ounces bourbon (or rye)
• 1 ounce Campari
• 1 ounce sweet vermouth
• Garnish: orange twist

Instructions

• Add bourbon, Campari and sweet vermouth into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
• Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
• Garnish with an orange twist.
