Forbidden Fruit

It’s National Fruitcake Day and we’re all about celebrating fruit in cake! So why not pour yourself a Forbidden Fruit cocktail and get ready to party? So don’t wait - indulge in the flavor now! Cheers! 🍹

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 ounces applejack
• 1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1
• 1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
• 1 teaspoon simple syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
• Ginger beer, chilled, to top
• Garnish: lemon half-wheel

Instructions

• Add the applejack, Pimm’s No. 1, lemon juice, simple syrup, Angostura bitters and Peychaud’s bitters into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
• Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
• Top with the ginger beer.
• Garnish with a lemon half-wheel.
