Stone Fence

Let’s honor the brave with a Stone Fence Cocktail, a classic symbol of the freedom they protect. Raise a glass to the heroes in our Veterans Day celebrations. To those who have served our country, we offer this traditional New England toast in your honor: “May you always have walls for the wind, and a roof for the rain, and drinks beside the fire.” Let us drink a Stone Fence Cocktail together to celebrate your courage and service!

Ingredients

• 2 ounces rye, bourbon, rum or brandy
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• Apple cider, to top
• Garnish: 1 mint sprig

Instructions

• Add the spirit of your choice and Angostura bitters to a Collins glass filled with ice.
• Fill the glass to the brim with the cider and stir gently to combine.
• Garnish with a mint sprig.
